Dr. Ron Carmen, a Columbus native, has been serving the city and its surrounding communities since 1978. He received his Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University in 1969 and his Doctorate of Dental Science from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland in 1973.
After working as a dentist for a few years in Boston, finishing his HEW Fellowship at the University of Minnesota,and earning his Master’s degree and a post doctoral certificate in orthodontics from Case Western, Dr. Carmen established his orthodontic and TMJ (temporomandibular joint dysfunction) treatment practice in Columbus.
Dr. Carmen favors conservative, non-extraction treatments and will do everything he can to save natural teeth. He is an Invisalign®-certified provider and has a special interest in helping patients who suffer from facial pain and headaches.
Dr. Jesse Carmen is also a native of Columbus, and, as you may have guessed, he’s Dr. Ron Carmen’s son! The orthodontic field was a natural choice for Dr. Jesse as a result of watching his father in the profession for his entire life.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan honors program. He then graduated cum laude from the Ohio State College of Dentistry, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Science. Upon completion of his orthodontic residency at Case Western Reserve University, Dr. Jesse entered our practice!
Dr. Jesse is an Invisalign® Top 1% Diamond provider! His favorite thing about being an orthodontist is the opportunity to take part in increasing the self-esteem and self-confidence of all his patients.
